#ShadesUpforKids Official Rules

Official Rules.

The Official Rules of #shadesupforkids are set forth below (the “Rules”). By participating in #shadesupforkids, participant agrees to be bound by the terms of the Rules.

Sponsor.

#shadesupforkids is a charitable initiative sponsored by CU Cooperative Systems, LLC (“Co-op”), a Delaware limited liability company located at 9692 Haven Ave Suite 300, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.

 

Eligibility.

#shadesupforkids is open to persons 18 years of age or older, including any officers, employees or directors of Co-op or members of their immediate families. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.  Participants are not required to be a member, client or employee of Co-op, PSCU, or a credit union.

How To Participate.

To participate, post on Twitter or LinkedIn a selfie with an airplane window shade raised in the background, tagged with the hashtag #shadesupforkids, between March 1, 2024 and Co-op’s 2024 THINK conference, which begins on May 7, 2024 (the “Term”).

Co-op Donations; Maximum.

For each qualified selfie posted during the Term, Co-op will donate $10.00 each to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the National Credit Union Foundation, up to a maximum total of $10,000. Co-op may, in its sole discretion, continue to make donations for selfies posted after it reaches this maximum, and will use good faith efforts to publicize if the maximum donation for the initiative has been reached.

Conditions; Release

Only one (1) posting is eligible per Participant. All selfies must be posted by May 7, 2024. By posting a selfie, you agree to be bound by these Rules. Neither Co-op nor its agents, representatives and affiliates, shall be responsible or liable for: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Co-op that may cause #shadesupforkids to be disrupted or corrupted; or (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of participation in #shadesupforkids.

By participating in #shadesupforkids, you consent to any use, in any and all media in perpetuity, of your selfie for any purpose whatsoever in connection with, related to, or arising from the 2024 Co-op THINK Conference. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not post a selfie.

Governing Law.

#shadesupforkids and the rights and obligations of Co-op and Participants will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of Delaware, without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions.
