Montessori Cooperative

Children’s Montessori Cooperative started as a grassroots effort in September 2012, sharing space with a Montessori Toddler Program.  CMC was created to meet a community need for a pre-school and kindergarten alternative that teaches the whole child, not just a standards-based curriculum. Montessori philosophy enriches children’s lives by facilitating a life-long love for learning; encouraging cooperation amongst peers; providing opportunities to build critical thinking skills; and recognizing the planes of development in each child to establish an early preparedness for reading and mathematics.
