Committee on Co-operative Communications ICACC A thematic committee of the ICA www.ica.coop/icacc

The ICA Communications Committee (ICACC) believes that the role of communication is critical to the promotion of co-operatives. The ICA has long recognised this and provided for its further development through such mechanisms as the ICACC.

Its objectives include:

• improving the effectiveness and understanding of the people with responsibility for co-operative information, media and information centres in the organisations affiliated to the ICA
• contributing to the development of the co-operative media and information resources; as well as fostering contacts among co-operative communicators in order to encourage the exchange of experience and co-operation
