Dae-Kun Chung (Korea), President
Dae-Kun Chung has served as Chairman of NACF since 1999. His election was
confirmed in 2000 following the incorporation of two national agricultural
co-operatives. He was also the Chairperson of the Organising Committee for
the ICA General Assembly in Seoul. Mr Chung served as President of the
Samrangjin Agricultural Co-operative in Korea for 24 years having been
elected for eight consecutive terms. In 1998 he served as Standing Auditor

Mr Jean-Louis Bancel, ICBA President
Executive Vice Chairman of Crédit Coopératif (France) He has a long association with the mutual insurance sector – he was CEO of Fédération Nationale de la Mutualité Française (FNMF) the
apex body of French health mutuals, and before that,General Secretary of Groupement des Entreprises Mutuelles d’Assurance (GEMA). Jean-Louis was chairman of International Co-operative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF)
development committee from 1999-2001 and last year stepped down after five years as ICMIF Chairman. For more than fifteen years, Jean-Louis Bancel, has been at the forefront of the movement. Bancel reflects on his time as chairman of ICMIF
and offers his perspective on the benefits of mutuality.

Michael E. Doyle (USA)
Michael E. Doyle is President and Chief Executive Officer of CHF International, a humanitarian and development organisation founded in 1952 as the Foundation for Cooperative Housing. He was elected as the Chairperson of ICA Housing in 2004. Mr. Doyle began his tenure at CHF International in 1985, as the director of a shelter loan program for low-income families in Costa Rica, working in partnership with local cooperatives.. Before joining CHF, he worked in senior-level management positions with the US government, promoting volunteer and private sector involvement in human services programs, He was affiliated with the US Peace Corps for more than 10 years, beginning in 1962 as a volunteer in Colombia and later serving throughout Latin America.
Mr. Doyle serves on the board of the US Overseas Cooperative Development Council, and on the UN/ECE’s Housing and Urban Management Advisory Network (HUMAN). He has served on the board of directors of the International Co-operative Alliance’s Housing committee since 1992.

Shaun Tarbuck (UK), Chief Executive
Shaun Tarbuck was appointed chief executive of ICMIF on 1 July 2005. He previously held the position of chief financial officer for six years. He has worked extensively on the report Valuing our Mutuality and its subsequent updates, particularly in the areas of demutualiszation, legislation and the financial data. He is also the chief executive of the recently set up Association of Mutual Insurers (AMI) in the UK which is currently writing its own corporate governance code for mutual insurers. He joined ICMIF in March 1995. Mr Tarbuck is a Chartered Accountant in the UK. Prior to joining ICMIF he worked for Coopers & Lybrand, Stoy Hayward and Templeton Life
and held his own accountancy and consultancy practice specialising in insurance.

Maurizio Davolio (Italy), Chairperson
Since 1979 Maurizio Davolio has developed his professional experience focussing on assistance to companies associated with the League of Cooperatives and working in the areas of travel agencies for the public, tour operating, hotel management, tourism services, management of coastal facilities and ecotourism.
He has also worked as a consultant for public bodies interested in tourism development and promotion of their local areas in Italy and abroad. Other activities include lecturing and tutorship, with particular reference to themes of tourist legislation, marketing, promotional policy and agritourism, rural tourism, and tourism with fishermen. Collaboration with several universities, teaching and research institutes and professional training centres. Maurizio Davolio is also the author of books, essays and articles on tourism.
