Engendering Database in Co-operatives in Asia-Pacific: A Study Report
The study was sponsored by International Co-operative Alliance, Asia Pacific
(ICA-AP) as part of a project to collect and analyse sex-disaggregated
statistics. Although it contains data from 24 ICA members from 14 countries
in the region, it represents a body of knowledge from 408 primaries co-operatives
from various sectors.

Report of the ICA Africa Gender Forum: "Promoting Gender Equlaity in Co-operative to Enhance Sustainable Economic Development", 12-16 November 2007
More than 200 participants attended the first ICA Africa Gender Forum held in Maseru (Lesotho). A series of recommendation were made on how to establish a Pan-African Women Co-operators' Network in addition to preparing a ICA Africa Gender Strategy for review and adoption at the Regional Assembly in 2008. Two Hours on Gender Issues in Co-operatives:
An introductory session on gender issues for co-operative leaders
  
This is a guide for trainer or moderators on how to design a two-hour introductory session on gender issues in co-operatives for co-operative leaders and policy makers. The main aim of the "Gender Package" is to generate increased gender awareness and to encourage the integration of gender issues in co-operative development. The package contains a sensitisation module accompanied by transparencies which assist the user in the preparation of a gender session. It also contains a poster which can be displayed to promote the sensitisation session, as well as leaflets which can be distributed to participated after the session. The package exists in English, French and Spanish. It is made available on the web by the ICA GEC in html format.

- Leadership Training Manual for Women Leaders of Co-operatives
This training manual was developed jointly by the ICA Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific through its Regional Women’s Committee, and the International Labour Office (ILO). It is designed to be used by co-operative trainers and aims at facilitating gender equity and equality at all levels of co-operatives. The manual consists of seven modules, comprising several units, and draws upon existing ILO tools on gender analysis, equality, and development. The topics broadly cover fundamentals of co-operatives, gender sensitisation and self transformation, leadership, coping with challenges, organisation and enterprise management.
