The ICA Director-General makes available periodic reports on

Death of ICA President Ivano Barberini
It is with great sadness that the ICA announces the death
of its President, Ivano Barberini, after a long illness on
6 May 2009.
A commemorative service was held on Friday, 8 May
2009 at the at Legacoop Emilia-Romagna in Bologna, Italy and
was followed by a private funeral, as requested by his family.
During the commemorative service, Iain Macdonald, Director-General
of the ICA, paid tribute to Mr. Barberini, his “friend,
colleague, mentor and fellow co-operator”.
In his speech,
he recalled the human qualities of Mr Barberini and his tireless
commitment and passion for the Co-operative movement that delivers
to its next president the stable position and the influence
it has today. Download
