Users can see who’s online at anytime, similar to Skype and chat using an instant messaging client or group video call feature. There’s also a group calendar, a virtual whiteboard and area for uploading and downloading specific files.

In Cebu, Philippines on Mactan island there is a group of bikers who have been contributing to various activities helping children in the surrounding area and throughout other areas as far south as Mindanao. Improving Logistics Cooperation in Crisis Environments.

The Center for Stabilization and Economic Reconstruction conducted the seventh offering of its seminar on Logistics Cooperation for Stabilization and Reconstruction. The week-long seminar took place in Chapel Hill,NC, from December 2-7, 2012. The executive education program is designed to improve logistics cooperation among the public, private, and voluntary sectors in crisis environments, both domestic and international.

Since 1978 there has been scientific cooperation between China and Germany in many areas. Over time, one of which is research and development of high speed railways.

China and Germany have conducted in-depth cooperation in various fields including sophisticated manufacturing, information technology, green energy, the auto industry and high speed railways. The fruitful results have been seen in joint research and exchanges since China and Germany agreed on scientific and technological cooperation in 1978.

They have created a came called Co-opoly. Co-opoly is a unique game that gives players a chance to role-play as cooperators, and engage with everyday democracy. The board game is a 100% USA made, and most of the pieces are made within 70 miles of their home base, with 2/3 of the components needed for the game made by other cooperatives. There are 8 different vendors needed to put the whole game together. Cost for the game is on a sliding scale of $38-70 with a suggested price of $50. This game seems like a great tool for organizational development and education. They are nearly through their first fun of games, as the game has been incredibly successful so far.

The only thing I regret is that we didn’t actually get to play the game at the conference. It seems like it would be a  fun and educational session! Maybe next year.
